These photos are form his series 'Ball Photographs'. I love the idea of placing things around a space that aren't meant to be there, I love it in the sense of relating it to how germs spread and aren't meant to or aren't expected to be in a certain place. I find these images remarkably interesting and contemporary, the small coloured balls are subtle yet varied and used enough to make an impact upon the image creating a beautiful and almost alien like form. The random placement of the balls look almost obsessive, like how someone suffering with OCD might order or arrange items in their house. The images are almost creepy...I will definitely experiment with installations like this and the ones I previously looked at by Thomas Jackson yet with different meaning and content to fit my theme.
